Tease me Tonight by Jules Court

Close up of a man and a woman looking into each other's eyesBook: Tease me Tonight

Series: Hot in the City #3

Author: Jules Court

Release date: 31 July 2017

Main characters: Elizabeth Owen, nurse who’s ready to have some fun. Will MacGregor, fireman who is tired of hookups and ready for a meaningful relationship.

Plot: Elizabeth was on the world’s most sedate bachelorette party when she meets Will. Handsome and attentive, he looks like the perfect guy to rock her world for a night. No strings attached.

The only crimp in her plan is that Will isn’t doing one night stands anymore. They’ve left him empty and he finally wants something real. Elizabeth intrigues him and she makes him want to throw away his rule about not jumping into bed with a stranger. She pushes all the right buttons and he may have found his special someone.

Will the pair be able to find some common ground when clearly their goals are diametrically opposed?

Why you should read it: This was a very fun, well written novella. The dialogue was sparky and had me smiling. I really like Will – he was refreshing and a fun character, with deeper facets. Elizabeth was a tough cookie, and although she had the fleeing from love thing going on, she didn’t take it to ridiculous lengths. The passion and heat between these two was also hot hot hot! It’s titillating and enormous fun. I heartily recommend it.

What you may not like: It’s quite a short read so I don’t think there was time to actively dislike anything in the story.

Rating: 4/5 for a fun, sexy and feel-good read.
