Main characters: Paige Turner (get it?), heroine with revenge on her mind. Ryan Justice, head of security, and the man who wants Paige all for himself.
Plot: From the first moment Ryan Justice set eyes on Paige Turner he knew they were destined to be together. Although she spurns his every advance, he cannot imagine a future without her in it.
Paige, has had a tough start in life. Mistreated by her father, and without a mother, she was left to navigate the world alone. Her attraction to Ryan is strong, however he represents all that is good in the world, whilst she is convinced that her darkness will consume them both if she gives into her desires. Ryan will not be so easily dissuaded and he has plenty of secrets of his own. Can this duo find happiness in each other’s arms?
Why you should read it: If you are a fan of the Alexa Riley books then you will love this sequel to Everything For Her. Paige has much more spirit than Mallory her best friend and heroine from Everything For Her. She has her own path in life and her dedication to revenge makes her far more interesting than Mallory ever was. This book has all the elements of a typical Alexa Riley book, minus some of the more preposterous situations. Ryan is completely obsessed with Paige, however I didn’t find it as nauseating as Miles’ behaviour in the previous story.
What you may not like: Ok, if you dislike alpha heroes, primal urges, virginal heroines and a desire for instant babies, then avoid this book like the plague! For some reason, Alexa Riley are obsessed with insta families and obsessional love. I don’t mind this trope in small doses (as long as there is some humour there too), but it certainly isn’t for everyone.
Rating: 3.5/5 for an entertaining and very sexy read.
