Misbehaving by Tiffany Reisz

Book: Misbehaving

Series: Cosmo Hot Reads

Author: Tiffany Reisz

Format: Kindle

Review by: Onnica

Basic story: Beatriz loves her job – as a blogger she gets paid to review sex toys and manuals for the benefit of womankind. When her boss lands a last-minute project (reviewing a modern sex manual) in her lap the same week she should be helping her sister prepare for her wedding, she’s annoyed but resolved to find a partner and put the book through its paces. Little does she know that the ex-love of her life, Ben will also be attending the wedding…

Ben is pretty happy with life, considering he’s just come out of a relationship. He’s worked hard since college to enjoy the life he currently has. When he finds out that Bea is going to be at the wedding, he decides this time he won’t walk away from her again. Various misunderstandings and multiple sexy times follow, and Bea and Ben have to decide whether their sexy week has scratched their mutual itch, or whether they can go the distance.

Why you should read it: Tiffany Reisz wrote it. What more do you need to know? She always writes kinky, humorous and intelligent erotica that’s guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. It’s a quick read, ideal for when you’re in between books. It was also a nice touch bringing Much Ado about Nothing up-to-date – and making it kinky! Beatriz is fun, totally in control of herself and her sexuality. Ben is damn-near perfect. Her equal in every way. There was back story, secondary characters, a very helpful and all-knowing bellhop. It was super fun.

What you might hate: It was too darn short! No, seriously – I liked the fact that the pace chugged along nicely – we got a feel for the characters but the misunderstandings didn’t drag on for pages and pages.

Rating: I give this 4/5 for bringing a timeless story bang up-to-date. It’s sexy, sinful and oh so naughty.

 Misbehaving is out now.
